The year is passing so quickly and the colors of Fall are everywhere. As cooler temperatures settle into mid-coast Maine, we will be breaking out the hats, gloves and winter boots and turning our attention to our polio walk, pancake breakfast, strategic planning work, legacy project planning and the 100 fund. There is no shortage of work to be done.
New members should plan on attending the upcoming New Member Orientation to be held on
November 4th , from 6 to 7 pm at the Sheriff’s Office, located at 6 Public Safety Way, Belfast. We are looking forward to the fellowship and opportunity to share information about Rotary International, District 7790 and our local charitable efforts.
Speaking of new members, please keep in mind that we are always looking for like minded folk to join our club. If you know someone that would be interested in our mission, be sure to encourage them to consider joining!!
We were very excited to welcome Dorothy Alling as our newest member. She is a retired IBM systems analyst. She is well known in the area for her civic involvement.
She was sponsored by Dorothy Harvey and welcomed into the club by president Jason Trudy.
Our club was very grateful to receive a $1,000 donation from the VFW to be used for our legacy project, which will be an inclusive playground. Jim Roberts, commander of the Randall Collins VFW (and Rotarian) is shown here presenting the check to President Jason Trundy.
Thank you, thank you VFW for your very generous donation!
